Q:

Are you able to accept signals from GSM service companies such as SecureNet, Alarm.com, Telguard and Connect24?

A:

Yes, we can work with most GSM service providers and do offer setup services on select GSM clients with for dealers as a value added service. Please give us a call before investing in these systems to discuss.


Q:

I’m looking to get in to video monitoring, and would like to set up a dedicated system complete with guard patrols, is this possible?

A:

Currently SDI offers live and recorded video monitoring through dedicated video monitoring micros. We do however ask that a site security plan be available for discussion in advance of installation for detailed review, as the needs of each site differ greatly.


Q:

I have several ULC rated Fire and Burglary systems that are required to be monitored in a very specific way, can you meet these specifications?

A:

Yes, we are VERY well versed in ULC systems, and work closely with our dealers to ensure that all signals and systems are working flawlessly before issuing our ULC Monitoring certificates. Our highly knowledgable administrative staff are well known for our attention to detail.


Q:

What kind of access will I have to my accounts in your database, and what is the process for submitting updates and new accounts?

A:

SDI’s dedicated Dealer Services division is available during regular business hours to update your accounts and supply completed client info sheets for verification, as well as a secure online portal for your support staff to access your account base remotely. Both options are always available to you, and are included as a value added service.


Q:

A portion of my business runs from out of Province or in the United States, can SDI work with these accounts?

A:

Yes, we are currently working with several dealers who manage accounts across Canadian Provinces and Several States.

How does SDI differ from any standard answering service?

A:

We feel this question is best answered in person, but the short answer is accountability. We’re as invested in a logical conclusion to the issue at hand as the Strata contacts are. We work hard to distance ourself from being labled as ‘just another answering service’

I have several accounts with very different procedures, and I need them followed exactly, is this possible?

A:

We offer an extremely customizable service that can suit the company as a whole, and individual team members as they would like. We can meet and discuss the needs of the entire company portfolio and develop a plan that works for all parties.
